You have three types of in ground pool cleaners from which to choose: robotic, automatic, and manual. Your final choice should be based on a few factors but the most important thing to consider are the quality of your in ground pool cleaner’s construction and the efficiency of its performance. It should be able to handle the job of cleaning your pool on a daily basis, doing a thorough job in a reasonable amount of time.
Look for an in ground pool cleaner which is simple enough to operate that you can turn the job of getting it started over to your kids if necessary; if you need a degree in mechanical engineering to figure out how to use it, your pool will probably get quite dirty between cleanings.
Finally, look for an in ground pool cleaner which won’t break your budget. Buy the one with only the features that you need, which are the ones that will get your pool clean. Microchips and cute designs are nice, but not necessary to the task at hand.
Your in ground pool was an investment, and your in ground pool cleaner should be an investment as well. So know what you need and what you can live without, and don’t stop looking until you’re sure your choice is the right one!
